I'm just completing the first term of my 2nd year at university, where I am studing Textile Design, at present I am in the middle of deciding whether to specialise in knit or print. Up until the start of 2nd year I was pretty sure I was going to be a printer but I didn't really get on with my print tutor and I found I really enjoyed knit. Last week I had a tutorial with two of my tutors, where we reviewed all my knit, print and visual studies project work and they said I had a real apptitude towards print, my work was very graphic and decorative apparently.
So here I am, still with it going round in my head.....
but
I think I'm going to be a printer...

You need to be experimental and take a risk. Now that's being creative.
WELCOME TO DEVIANTART (DA)
Hope you'll enjoy the community just as much as I do!
This is a fantastic place, so I'd advice you to use it well.
Also, a lot of people ae only interested in the pageviews and to get comments. Sure that's fun. But here you should also work to get them. Meaning - give comments, to get comments. It's one of the simple "rules" here at DA. And that's only fare.
Newbies often expect to get heaps of comments, and get frustrated when no one comments their work.
If you want many pageviews and comments, give the same to others. That way you also get your name out there, and you grow.
Comments and pageviews are fun to get, but hopefully your mainreason to join DA is YOUR ART...
Add people to your friendlist if you like their work and want to watch their work later.

Have a great day,
and take care!
We already love you here at the DA!
